Job summary

Glebe Farm Nursery in Lincoln is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) to support care, learning and development for children. You will deliver care while supervising your team, maintaining safeguarding standards and strong record keeping.

You will require a Level 3+ in Early Years, proven EY experience, excellent communication, and alignment with Storal values such as responsibility and teamwork. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
• Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to the children whilst supervising your team.
• Identify areas for improvements in learning/teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
• Ensure all record-keeping requirements are regularly completed.
• Conduct team appraisals.
• Work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly.

Salary: £13.75 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

You’ll be joining Glebe Farm Nursery as a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play-based learning.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

Day to day, you will deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team.

You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
