Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking a Casual Early Years Educator to provide cover for children as needed, including holiday, sickness, and vacancy gaps.

The role offers flexible shifts around other commitments and requires a Level 2+ Early Years qualification and enthusiasm for supporting young learners. You will work within EYFS guidelines, delivering engaging activities and collaborating with the team to ensure high standards of care and education.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.
• Experience with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide cover for children during holidays, sickness, or vacancies.
• Support full days or sessions as required.
• Deliver engaging activities and arts, storytelling, and movement.
• Pivot plans as needed to maintain safe, secure and stimulating care.

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll be helping to providecover for the children asand when needed. This could befor periods of holiday, sickness, or evenvacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support forafull day, or it may just be amorning or afternoon session. You'll likely start most of yourdays with afully formulated plan.... That will soonget completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!

Creativity is key.Teaching young children allows forhands onarts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within theEYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.

You’re a Level 2 or abovequalified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for anEarly Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.

You enjoy supporting and encouragingthenaturalcuriosity and excitement of young children and werebornto teach and shape the future of our younger generations.

You have a natural,nurturing, openness, awarm and positive outlook, and youcare about learning andeducation standards in the UK.

We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, so if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.

What you'll need

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. (We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, as long as they demonstrate the necessary qualities, values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.)

• Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous

• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
