Job summary

A leading main contractor in the UK is looking for an experienced Document Controller for a 12-month FTC in Redditch. The successful candidate will manage document control processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in document management software is required. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. This position offers a competitive salary up to £43,000 plus benefits.

Job description

Due to increased growth with our client a leading main contractor we are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join then on a FTC for 12 months based in Redditch

You will be working on a Planned Maintenance Contract within a well established team that is consistently growing!

Offering a competitive salary of up to 43,000 + great benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain document control processes and systems in compliance with company policies and project requirements, manage the storage, retrieval, and distribution of project documentation using document management software.
  • Liaise with designers and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information
  • Monitor document revisions, maintain version control, and track changes to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document integrity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Travel around sites when needed (all midlands based& expenses paid) and provide insights to management team
Experience
  • Proven experience in document control (ideally construction/ maintenance industry)
  • Proficiency in document management software (e.g. SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
