Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited is seeking a strategic digital leader to partner with the Engineering and Customer Solutions Directorate. You will own the delivery of digital products and services, ensuring security, reliability and pace, while guiding a diverse engineering team.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, modern software engineering practices, and experience with outsourced partners. Hybrid working options and NSV security clearance are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Degree in Management, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent management‑based digital, data, or technology‑specific industry experience.
Experience leading senior stakeholder interaction and delivery of complex digital programs.
NSV security clearance required and ability to maintain this clearance.
Experience working with outsourced partners to deliver services.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Engineering and Customer Solutions Directorate to translate priorities into digital roadmaps.
Plan and manage delivery, including budget, timeline, risks, and quality standards.
Champion Agile DevSecOps and modern engineering practices.
Lead a diverse engineering team and foster a culture of learning and performance.
Provide technical leadership and governance for platform usage and audits.
