Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) seeks a strategic leader to drive Digital Products, Solutions and Services for the People Directorate. You will own the Agile DevSecOps delivery across the directorate, partner with stakeholders, manage budgets and risk, and guide architecture, security and reliability.

Hybrid work in Warwick or Wokingham with NSV clearance emphasis. You will lead a diverse engineering team, shape roadmaps, monitor user satisfaction, and collaborate with external partners.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering principles and practices including AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the directorate and stakeholders to translate priorities into digital charters and roadmaps.
• Own and manage the digital delivery plan, including budget, timeline, risks, and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance for platform usage.
