Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) seeks a strategic Digital Delivery Leader to create and manage the Digital, Data, and Technology roadmap, aligning with business goals. The role drives end-to-end delivery, collaborates with leadership, and ensures secure, reliable digital services at pace.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, work with external partners, and influence at senior levels to deliver value and continuous improvement within a hybrid UK-based setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent senior digital/tech leadership experience.
• Proven track record in technical leadership, managing teams, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with outsourced partners and transitioning to modern tech practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with directorates and stakeholders to translate priorities into digital roadmaps.
• Own the digital delivery plan, including budget, timeline, resources, risks, and quality.
• Champion Agile DevSecOps and modern engineering practices; drive automation and pace.
