The role emphasizes DevOps tooling, containers and cloud platforms (AWS), with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps, while requiring travel willingness and the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience in Java.
• Experience with databases, architecture and integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance.
• Liquibase for schema change management.
• Knowledge of GitOps principles.
• Experience in public sector/government beneficial.
• Willingness to travel.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to attain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support improvements to efficiency, software quality, and delivery times.
• Collaborate across Development, QA, IT Ops, InfoSec, and UCD to apply best DevOps practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical implementation for stakeholders.
