Job summary

The DevOps Engineer role at Deel bridges software development and IT operations to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing applications for a global customer base. You will streamline deployments, automate tasks, and partner with Development, IT, and Product teams to speed releases and reduce downtime.

You'll work with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD tools, driving reliability and observability across Deel’s production systems while supporting a hybrid/office-flexible working setup that

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in production environments.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Drone, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Strong IT background.
• Networking knowledge: K8S ingresses, services and Load Balancers; AWS services (EKS, S3, Postgres, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS).
• Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools.
• Additional programming languages like NodeJS are a plus.
• Results-driven with a strong commitment to completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with the latest AWS technologies like Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, DocumentDB, and more.
• Manage our AWS production deployments (SaaS) running on AWS EKS.
• Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC on our Cloud-based production systems.
• Work with the team to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.
• Install, configure, update and troubleshoot our product microservices and tools including databases.
• Design and manage different monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
