Job summary

IT Global Consulting Limited in Slough, Berkshire, UK, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own the platform's development, maintenance and ongoing support, acting as the internal focal point for the enterprise platform. The role requires strong Kubernetes, AWS and CI/CD expertise to lead teams and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will work in an Agile environment, automate deployments, and collaborate with solution architects to align business needs with technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting, designing and deploying Kubernetes clusters and leading teams.
• Proven ability to deploy CI/CD pipelines using cloud native and third‑party tools.
• Strong Shell scripting and Python skills; monitoring with Datadog/Prometheus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Working within an agile context with the use of CI/CD.
• Articulate logical designs and map them to physical infrastructure.
• Develop, coordinate and administrate AWS infrastructure.
• Automate deployments via infrastructure as code (Pulumi/Terraform).
• Build and manage VPC environments for Sandbox, DEV, Test, Prod.
• Enhance tech stack configurations to improve site performance and reliability.
• Support teams in mapping stories to platforms and deploying secure services.
• Lead Kubernetes architecture discussions and governance.
