Job summary

SSEN Transmission in Scotland is seeking Senior Development Project Managers to lead EGL5, overseeing optioneering and initial design while coordinating with JV partners and internal teams to hit milestones on a major HVDC project.

The role is based in Scotland with hybrid working. Salary ranges from £59,800 to £89,800 depending on experience, plus car/allowance, bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification and relevant professional membership.
• Experience leading large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEC3 Contracts and HSE legislation.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Development Project Managers through optioneering and initial design phases.
• Manage interfaces across multiple workstreams and JV partners.
• Develop, manage and report on project programmes to meet milestones.
• Apply project governance, risk management and CDM 2015 requirements.
