Job summary

Rullion is recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams on major AMP8 water and wastewater programmes in the UK. Hybrid working (2 days per week from home) and the option to base from offices in Manchester, Chester, Leeds, Guildford, London, Nottingham or Newcastle.

You will guide optioneering through detailed design, manage design risk and interfaces, and collaborate with clients, contractors and the supply chain to deliver clear, buildable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams on major AMP8 water and wastewater programmes.
• Strong governance, risk and interface management experience.
• Proven ability to mentor managers and drive delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams on major AMP8 water and wastewater programmes.
• Guide design from optioneering and outline design through detailed design and construction support.
• Manage design risk, interfaces, assumptions, decisions and assurance activity.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and supply chain specialists.
