Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join the growing Water team. The role involves leading civil and structural design across water and wastewater projects, supporting AMP8 programmes, and mentoring junior engineers.

Hybrid working (2 days from home) and flexibility to be based from multiple UK offices. You will contribute to delivering resilient infrastructure, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage with clients and contractors to ensure buildable, compliant

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in the UK water sector.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience designing reinforced concrete structures.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater assets and design standards.
• Experience with major UK water frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and/or structural design activities across water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Deliver reinforced concrete and structural designs for water-retaining and buried structures.
• Support the technical delivery of major AMP8 programmes and capital investment schemes.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and graduates.
• Coordinate design inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
