Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Design Manager for Cirencester to lead design management across pre-bid to handover. You will work with the senior project team, clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to deliver complex design solutions on a major public sector project.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of CDM regulations, with emphasis on safety and collaborative working. National security vetting may apply.

Qualifications

• CSCS card holder required.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience managing consultants and design teams.
• Experience leading safety initiatives.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Management on projects from pre-bid to handover.
• Coordinate with senior project team and clients.
• Bid for new work and secure relationships.
• Manage consultant design through pre-construction.
• Oversee design review and documents management.
• Interface with Planning and Building Control.
• Report milestones to Head/Lead Design Manager.
• Support internal governance and audits.
