Job summary

A Design Coordinator role in Luton, Bedfordshire offering exposure to projects from £1m to £15m across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will own the design process from tender to completion, coordinating with pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, and liaising with architects, engineers and contractors.

Based primarily at the Luton head office with site and client visits, the role is full-time with standard hours 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and requires a valid UK

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing the design process within a main contractor environment.
• Experience delivering projects from £1m to £15m.
• Knowledge of traditional and D&B procurement routes.
• Experience coordinating multiple consultants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design process from tender through to completion and handover.
• Support pre-construction and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage full design, Design & Build schemes and Contractor Designed Packages (CDPs).
• Liaise with architects, structural engineers, M&E consultants and subcontractors.
• Review designs for buildability improvements and value engineering.
