Job summary

Pace Recruitment, on behalf of a leading main contractor, is recruiting a Design Manager to lead design coordination on projects in Kent. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive package, with opportunity to work on schemes up to around £25m.

You will manage the design process from pre-construction through to completion, coordinate clients, consultants and supply-chain partners, and drive programmes, quality and commercial objectives within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design management for main contractors.
• Ability to manage design delivery fromPre-construction through to completion.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the design process across the project lifecycle.
• Manage design programmes and review technical information.
• Coordinate design meetings with consultants and supply-chain partners.
• Deliver information in line with project requirements and resolve design issues.
• Support Project Manager and delivery team to maintain programme, quality and commercial objectives.
• Work on projects up to ~£25m across Kent and the South East.
