Talk Recruitment is seeking a Design Coordinator/Design Manager for a growing main contractor, based in Crewe. The role covers design coordination across multiple live projects, chairing design team meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating with M&E and planning teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The position offers a mix of office and site visits, with a competitive salary and benefits including a car allowance and pension.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Background as Design Co-ordinator / D&B Coordinator / Design Manager or related roles.
• Degree or equivalent industry qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across projects and coordinate with consultants and sub-contract designers.
• Chair design team meetings and issue minutes with actions tracked.
• Manage design and procurement schedules and release information to target dates.
• Provide design support to Project Management teams and review value engineering opportunities.
