Barhale is seeking a Lead Design Coordinator to control design budgets and ensure timely, quality delivery. The role requires challenging the design process through the full lifecycle, aligning with Barhale standards, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on site near Manchester.

The successful candidate will manage design interfaces, support the Project Manager, and implement the Barhale Design Management Plan while ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental systems.

Qualifications

• HNC/D in civil, electrical, mechanical or process engineering or equivalent level qualification.
• Experience in working within a design and build environment.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 for Designers preferred.
• Process Safety/Hazard Management experience.

Responsabilités

• Co-ordinate multi-disciplinary design development and client reviews.
• Establish integrated design programmes with design teams and planners.
• Assist the Project Manager with tracking design cost to complete against deliverables.
• Review design documentation for completeness before client submission.
• Collate design information for Health & Safety file.
• Ensure designs meet client specifications and any national standards.
