Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Project Manager in Southend to deliver multiple civil engineering projects. The role requires strong leadership, cost control, and delivery of projects to time and quality targets.

You will collaborate with estimating, engineering and surveying teams to ensure client requirements are met and safety is paramount. The ideal candidate will have line management experience, CM, NEBOSH certification and Primavera P6 knowledge, within Barhale’s values-driven, people-focused

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, people and team management skills.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Chair weekly site meetings and maintain records of discussions and actions.
• Produce forecasts, monitor costs, and report project performance to Contracts Manager.
• Deliver projects from design to completion with proper handover documentation.
• Coordinate site investigations and develop cost-effective construction solutions.
• Lead health, safety and environmental compliance across projects.
• Ensure QA, ITPs, and as-builts are produced and submitted to clients.
