Barhale is seeking a Site Agent/Manager to lead on-site delivery of civil engineering and water projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and programme adherence while coordinating engineers, sub-agents and foremen.

Key duties include plans, RAMS, ITP and waste management; driving cost efficiency and client satisfaction; and reporting progress through monthly client updates. A Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering and CSCS are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within Civil Engineering and as a Site Agent for a contractor.
• Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control.
• CSCS Mandatory
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
• Temporary works Coordinator
• Confined space training
• Excellent communication, people, and team management skills

Responsabilités

• Overall responsibility for successful delivery of various projects in the Civils and Water sectors
• Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects
• Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen to deliver work safely and to the required standard
• Produce Project Plans, RAMS, and ITP as well as Waste Management Plans
• Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised
• Produce and manage the project construction programme and a 2-week look-ahead
• Produce procurement schedules and liaise with procurement to secure resources
• Represent the business to customers and official bodies
• Maintain documentation such as site diaries and cost plans
• Chair weekly site meetings and provide monthly client reports
