Barhale is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead detailed technical designs for civil engineering, including temporary and permanent works. You will provide technical support and ensure compliance with CDM, health and safety, and environmental standards.

You will coordinate with clients and suppliers, oversee design outputs, and contribute to value-engineering solutions while maintaining design quality and efficiency across projects.

Qualificações

• Experience in structural engineering with detailed design of permanent or temporary works.
• Ability to perform calculations by hand or with MathCAD.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, BS 5975 and related structural standards.
• Experience coordinating design teams in a structural engineering office.
• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Lead, prepare and oversee detailed technical designs (calculations, drawings, risk assessments, design certificates).
• Coordinate with other parties and obtain independent checks/third-party approvals where required.
• Provide technical information and advice; develop value-engineered solutions.
• Assist with developing and maintaining design processes, procedures and standards.
