Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a proven Deputy PMO Lead for a highly regulated, multi‑billion construct transformation project. This senior role will direct a team of five Project Controls professionals and act as the company representative on the transformation programme, reporting to the PMO Lead.

You will lead development of controls processes, governance and EVM, delivering accurate programme reporting and presenting risks and performance to the board.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in Project Controls/PMO within complex infrastructure.
• Experience leading project controls teams.
• Experience presenting to board-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as company representative on the transformation programme reporting to the PMO Lead.
• Lead and inspire a team of five Project Controls professionals.
• Oversee development of Project Controls processes, governance.
• Support Earned Value Management implementation.
• Develop programme reporting and present risks to the board.
• Provide leadership across planning, cost and schedule control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support delivery.
• Hands-on contribution beyond day-to-day remit.
