Harnham is seeking a Senior Data Insight & Governance Manager in Liverpool. This leadership role drives the insight strategy, data governance, and advanced analytics initiatives, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts.

The position emphasizes strategic influence over business objectives with strong executive interactions. Hybrid working in Liverpool with a clear path to shape enterprise data strategy, governance standards, and AI-enabled capabilities

Formación

• Significant leadership experience within Analytics, Data, BI, Insights, or Performance functions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including analysts, data scientists, and ML professionals.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience developing analytics or insight strategies linked to business objectives.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Performance Reporting, KPI Frameworks, Advanced Analytics, and ML concepts.
• Experience working with environments such as Power BI, Snowflake, SQL-based platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the organisation's Data, Insight, Governance, and Labour Market Intelligence capability.
• Develop and deliver the insight and analytics roadmap.
• Identify and prioritise high-value analytics initiatives across the organisation.
• Increase the visibility and impact of data and analytics across operational functions.
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks.
• Drive improvements in data ownership, stewardship, quality, and standards.
• Ensure data assets are trusted, accessible, and fit for purpose.
• Influence the direction of AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Sponsor the development of predictive models, AI-powered products, automation solutions, and advanced insight programmes.
• Establish governance and best practice around AI implementation and usage.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Present complex findings and recommendations to Executive and Board audiences.
• Represent the Data & Analytics function at leadership forums and governance boards.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Insight Analysts, Labour Market Analysts, Governance Specialists.
• Build future capability across Analytics, Governance, AI, and Insight.
