Job summary

SPG Resourcing is recruiting a Data and Insights Manager in Leeds to lead a data & insights team, govern data quality and drive self‑service analytics. You will shape the data strategy, engage senior stakeholders and deliver governed reporting models.

Hybrid role based in Leeds; 2-3 days on site. The successful candidate will align data capability with business priorities and manage delivery across data analysts and reporting analysts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data, Analytics, BI or Reporting teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior influence.
• Experience prioritising workloads in dynamic environments.
• Understanding of enterprise BI, reporting and data platforms.
• Experience with Power BI and SAP analytics tools is advantageous.
• Ability to translate data concepts into business outcomes.
• Strong data governance, quality and master data concepts.
• Experience shaping data/digital strategies.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Data & Insights team.
• Own workload planning and capacity management.
• Set team rituals and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive Data & Digitalisation Strategy delivery.
• Engage stakeholders to align with business priorities.
• Oversee data portal and data services improvements.
• Translate demand into roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Allocate work across analysts by skills and capacity.
• Monitor delivery performance and SLAs.
• Build relationships with business and tech teams.
• Promote data quality, governance and compliant handling.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics and governed reporting.
