Job summary

Identify Solutions in Swansea is seeking an experienced Data Lead to own the organisation-wide data strategy and shape its data capability. As the most senior data professional, you'll influence governance, data management, and the transformation programme.

You will build a data-driven culture, drive a Microsoft Fabric/Azure platform, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver meaningful insight and social impact across South Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data strategy and governance.
• Proven ability to drive data transformation or maturity programmes.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with data migration, integration and ETL.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Azure.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL and related Microsoft data tech.
• Experience building data teams, capabilities or operating models.

• Owning and evolving the organisation's data strategy.
• Embedding data governance, ownership and stewardship.
• Improving data quality and turning data into insights.
• Providing strategic direction for Microsoft Fabric data platform.
