Job summary

Cloud Direct is seeking a Senior Data Platform Consultant to lead the design and delivery of Microsoft Fabric projects, combining technical leadership with customer engagement to turn data challenges into meaningful outcomes.

You will mentor teammates, drive architectural decisions, and ensure governance and security across solutions, while supporting pre-sales and delivering robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Fabric expertise.
• Advanced SQL and PySpark.
• Proven experience with enterprise Power BI, semantic models and complex DAX calculations.
• Knowledge of Purview governance and data security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Own technical workstreams across engagements.
• Facilitate customer workshops and discovery sessions.
• Design scalable Lakehouse, Warehouse and Medallion Architecture solutions.
• Define data and semantic modelling standards.
• Lead security and governance implementations.
• Mentor consultants and provide technical guidance.
• Review designs and deliverables.
• Support pre-sales activities and solution demonstrations.
• Produce high-quality solution documentation.
• Contribute to delivery methodologies and practices.
• Manage technical risks and dependencies.
