Job summary

Methods is recruiting a Principal Microsoft Fabric Architect to join our Delivery team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote with travel to client sites and our offices in London and Sheffield. You will lead architecture, governance, and data platform initiatives across complex programmes.

You will mentor engineers, establish engineering practices, and drive adoption of modern data platforms while collaborating with senior stakeholders and clients to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Fabric architecture and data platforms.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and project boards.
• Communicate technical decisions to non-technical executives.
• Strong expertise in the Azure data stack and data modelling.
• Proven track record with large-scale data migrations.
• Experience with real-time data processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Be the senior technical authority for the programme and define direction.
• Maintain Data Transformation Programme roadmap aligned to objectives.
• Mentor architects and engineers and uplift team capability.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance forums.
• Develop data services exposing APIs and streams across systems.
• Oversee end-to-end data solutions and migration projects.
