Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to independently lead technical engagements, own discovery and solution design, and deliver compelling platform demonstrations. You will work with account teams to expand usage and own frontline customer relationships across data engineering, analytics, and ML.

You will build live demos, drive proofs-of-concept, and contribute reusable assets while collaborating with customers to accelerate adoption of the Databricks Platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, pre-sales, or hands-on consulting.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production-quality code and live coding ability.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements, owning discovery, design, and demos.
• Build proofs-of-concept and live demos to drive technical wins.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies with the AE to grow platform usage.
• Articulate differentiation through hands-on demonstrations.
• Contribute notebooks, accelerators, and reference architectures.
