Job summary

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Customer Service Representative in Derry to join a leading manufacturer’s Customer Service team. You will manage order entry, liaise between customers and internal teams, and lead European customer engagement on portals like SAP Ariba.

The role requires strong communication, ERP experience, and a proven ability to deliver accurate, timely order fulfilment. It offers weekday hours in a client-facing environment with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years' demonstrable customer service experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within a global company.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of order entry, order processing and order shipment.
• Communicate with customers on order status, changes, confirmations, complaints and queries in a professional manner.
• Create and maintain customer records in SAP, including order preferences, product feedback, address, billing and contact information.
• Work with Buyers and Planners to achieve on-time customer deliveries.
• Lead engagement with European customers on electronic trading portals (e.g. SAP Ariba).
• Prepare weekly order status reporting, OTIF reporting and distribution, and reports for meetings and customer visits.
• Attend weekly operations and customer priorities meetings to review OTIF performance.
• Complete the Customer Service dashboard and support the review of expected sales to ensure month-end targets are met.
• Provide management back-up for the Customer Service Manager, including data for Weekly Sales Outlook.
