Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd is seeking a Customer Service & Key Account Manager to join the night team in Scunthorpe. You will ensure best-in-class service, monitor SLAs, and drive continuity across customer accounts.

The role requires leadership of the customer service team and collaboration across the business to deliver growth. The role emphasizes health and safety, contract management, and ongoing improvements within logistics and transport operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and thorough understanding of Warehouse and Transport operations.
• Demonstrable experience of customer relationship / key account management.
• Experience of continuous improvement initiatives and developing business growth.
• Good financial and business acumen with experience of managing budgets.
• Experience of contract negotiation and developing SLA’s.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain excellent internal and external customer relationships to develop a constantly improving service.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Menzies way of account management for all nominated accounts.
• Involvement and support in the implementation of new business projects.
• Deliver value to customers by widening Menzies involvement across the supply chain.
• Initiate and manage continuous improvement through cost reduction and margin improvement programs.
• Proactively manage renewal process with existing customers and monitor budgeted targets.
• Data analysis of existing business to audit customer contribution and identify improvements.
• Audit charging procedures to maximise revenue and maintain service levels.
