Job summary

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company is seeking a Customer Marketing Controller – Pureplay, VR and Portfolio to lead the Off Trade Customer Marketing strategy in a hybrid Hemel Hempstead role. This 12-month FTC will shape shopper marketing and annual plans, driving end-to-end portfolio activation for beer and soft drinks across channels.

The role requires extensive Customer Marketing experience, strong strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering results with key customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive Customer Marketing experience developing and executing customer-led strategies.
• Proven results in bringing brand, innovation and portfolio initiatives to life.
• Experience delivering marketing programmes across diverse customer base in FMCG.
• Strong commercial acumen and category understanding.
• Clear strategic direction with annual customer plans and cross-functional coordination.
• Project planning and execution with prioritization discipline.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; build trusted relationships.
• Leadership experience developing teams and collaborative culture.
• Solid financial and budget management ensuring ROI.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape the Customer Marketing strategy and annual activation plans.
• Own end-to-end Customer Marketing agenda across channels.
• Develop and execute integrated in-store and online campaigns to boost visibility and loyalty.
• Measure and optimise performance using data and insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create joined-up customer plans.
• Deliver impactful trade engagement through events, PR and external initiatives.
• Inspire and coach the Customer Marketing team towards continuous improvement.
