Job summary

NKT seeks a Senior Crewing Officer to lead end-to-end crewing across its Marine Operations Department. You will recruit, mobilise and train crews, manage payroll processes and support demobilisation while ensuring regulatory compliance for offshore projects.

You will guide on complex crewing issues, build strong relationships with offshore teams and crewing partners, and drive continuous improvements in crew planning and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Maritime Studies, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Substantial crewing or maritime operations experience with complex crew planning.
• Knowledge of international crewing operations, maritime labour laws and STCW/GWO is essential.
• Experience with crew management software and relationships with crewing agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, screening, interviewing and appointment of crew for offshore projects.
• Oversee crew rotations, deployments, travel, accommodation and flag-state requirements.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, insurance, immigration and port-clearance needs.
• Maintain crew records, manifests, competence data and vessel plans using management systems.
• Coordinate onboarding, including IT access, training and shift plans.
• Lead training, monitor performance, support talent development and succession planning.
• Act as point of contact for vessel leadership, project teams and agencies on crewing matters.
• Support procedures, workforce planning and continuous improvement; provide cover as needed.
• Oversee demobilisation, timesheet verification, payroll and invoicing support.
