Job summary

Anglo-Eastern in the United Kingdom (Glasgow) seeks a Senior Marine Personnel Officer to coordinate all aspects of sea staff recruitment, deployment, payroll, and compliance, ensuring Safe Manning and STCW standards are met across vessels under management.

You will be the primary contact for seafarers, manage crew documentation, and work with clients, manning agents and internal departments. Out-of-hours availability is expected to support maritime operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a reputable cruise manning company.
• Prefer sea-going experience on a cruise ship.
• Experience of crewing in cruise industry, STCW documentation, budgeting and OPEX.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a first point of contact for personnel on vessels under your responsibility.
• Ensure vessels are manned by suitably experienced personnel per Safe Manning, STCW and certifications.
• Follow recruitment procedures and document checks per Marine HR Manual.
• Provide new recruits with policies and briefings; conduct debriefings as required.
• Issue MLC Employment Agreements for sea staff and monitor payroll-related documents.
• Coordinate travel, visas, and relief planning; liaise with clients and agents.
• Maintain crew lists, update crewing system and payroll records.
• Prepare crew budgets, monthly turnover and statistics; support management with reporting.
