Job summary

QBE Insurance in Chelmsford is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to manage broker accounts, chase debts and ensure timely cash allocation across UK and European businesses. You will support management with achieving daily and monthly targets, while building strong client and broker relationships.

The role is hybrid in Chelmsford, with responsibilities to review statements, reconcile premiums and minimise bad debts.

Qualifications

• Relationship management experience with business stakeholders.
• Experience in a credit control function.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Broker Accounts and chase overdue debts.
• Review broker statements and ensure reconciled premiums are captured.
• Identify high-query brokers and develop strategies to reduce queries.
• Maintain processes and documentation in line with standards.
• Ensure timely data capture and generate accurate MI.
