Job summary

AXA XL in Ipswich, UK, is seeking a Senior Credit Control Analyst to join the UK Credit Control Team on a permanent basis. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote and office work, with duties spanning credit control, reporting and stakeholder collaboration within the London Insurance Market framework.

The successful candidate will contribute to process improvements, engage with brokers and cross-border colleagues, and help deliver robust credit control that supports underwriting

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control within insurance or financial services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a hybrid office/remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective, robust credit control on a stated portfolio.
• Take ownership of investigation, progression and resolution of material cases affecting overdue receivables.
• Provide clear commentary for monthly reporting packs and debt reviews.
• Adhere to TOM/Credit Control service offering and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with brokers, including monthly reconciliations and query management.
• Contribute to underwriting reporting packs and highlight cases needing leverage.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to share knowledge and resolve unallocated cash queries.
• Support continuous improvement via e-accounting and internal tools.
