Job summary

Chambers and Partners is seeking a Senior Credit Controller in London with a minimum of two years' experience. The role involves managing a portfolio of key customer accounts, coaching the team, monitoring KPIs, and strengthening process controls, in close collaboration with Finance, Sales and Customer Success.

The successful candidate will be adept at chasing overdue payments, supporting daily queries, and maintaining excellent client relationships in a busy, supportive Credit Control function.

Qualifications

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in Credit Control.
• Experience in managing a shared inbox.
• Strong understanding of cross- functional business functions.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency.
• Able to work independently.
• Impeccable communication skills, with both colleagues and clients.
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain customer centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Chasing a designated set of key accounts/ledger via calls and emails
• Support the team with daily queries and operational guidance
• Review team's work, provide coaching and drive queries resolution improvement
• Strengthen process controls and ensure compliance with procedures
• Monitor KPIs and approve payment plans
• Enhancing customer experience by building and maintaining a strong relationship with the customers
• Liaise with the wider Finance team, Sales and Customer Success to ensure timely customer query resolution and facilitate collection of overdue debt
• Cash posting & reconciling complex customer accounts
• Work closely to the Credit Control Manager to enhance team's skills and capabilities as well as the current processes
