Job summary

Lloyds-Insurance Market Organisation seeks a Senior Credit Controller to own a Delegated Authority portfolio, ensuring timely premium settlement and proactive resolution of balances. You will collaborate with Lloyd’s Brokers, Coverholders and underwriting teams to drive payment and mitigate credit risk.

You will use data analytics and reporting to monitor accounts, address discrepancies and support the enhancement of the Credit Control function with technology-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the premium settlement cycle for Delegated Authority in the Lloyd’s market.
• Understanding of the Lloyd’s binding authority terms and conditions from a credit control perspective.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with the Insurers’ Market Repository (IMR) and maintaining policy documentation.
• Proactive and analytical approach to resolve outstanding balances.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a sizeable Delegated Authority portfolio, using reporting and analytics to monitor account performance, identify discrepancies and address emerging issues.
• Manage the end-to-end premium settlement process across key accounts, including premium signings, bordereaux and reconciliation of written versus settled premiums.
• Build strong relationships with Lloyd’s Brokers and Coverholders, proactively managing outstanding balances, resolving queries and driving timely payment in line with agreed terms.
• Work closely with Underwriting and internal stakeholders to manage challenging accounts, investigate documentation and data issues, and agree appropriate actions to minimise credit risk.
• Support the continued development of the Credit Control function through improved reporting, data analytics and the introduction of technology-led solutions.
