Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Birmingham is seeking an Associate Director for Cost Management to lead cost consultancy on a high-profile infrastructure project. The role requires delivering end-to-end cost management, guiding value engineering, and interfacing with clients and other consultants.

You will manage a cost management team, oversee procurement, cost plans, and post-contract cost reporting, with responsibilities across feasibility, reporting, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven cost/ commercial management experience.
• NEC3 contracts experience, especially Option C Target Cost.
• Post-contract administration experience.
• Experience on major programmes and infrastructure projects.
• Infrastructure sector experience (rail, power, highways).
• Experience leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management commissions and client interface.
• Produce final cost estimates, cost plans and post-contract reports.
• Manage procurement processes and contract administration.
• Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell services.
• Lead a cost management team where appropriate.
