Job summary

Turner & Townsend in London is seeking an Associate Director – Senior Cost Manager/Commercial Manager to lead cost management on a high-profile infrastructure programme. This role requires senior oversight of end-to-end cost services and strong client engagement.

You will own cost planning, procurement, post-contract reporting, and lead a team, while driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to win new work.

Qualifications

• Proven cost/commercial management experience.
• MRICS preferred.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts (Option C).
• Post-contract administration experience.
• Experience on major programmes and projects.
• Infra sector exposure (rail, water, highways).
• Experience leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management on large or complex commissions.
• Act as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met.
• Oversee feasibility studies, procurement reports and cost planning.
• Manage procurement process including pre-qualification and contract preparation.
• Ensure post-contract cost variances and change control are managed.
• Lead cost reporting and final accounts negotiations.
• Support value engineering and life-cycle costing.
