Job summary

Gallagher in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Account Handler for our corporate team. You will support existing clients and new business opportunities by applying your technical knowledge and clear communication, delivering strong client outcomes across Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Care sectors.

You will work with Account Executives to renew terms, obtain quotes, manage insurer queries, and ensure accuracy of policy documents while upholding regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in larger commercial or corporate insurance across multiple classes.
• Ability to meet targets in a regulated environment.
• Strong risk awareness and data handling.
• Excellent relationship-building and client service skills.
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate documentation for new clients and reflect insurance requirements.
• Obtain renewal terms and prepare client presentations.
• Coordinate renewal quotes and mid-term adjustments.
• Manage insurer queries and confirm cover.
• Review policy documentation for accuracy.
• Handle account queries and credit control issues.
• Apply legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements to client contracts.
