Job summary

Gallagher in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Account Handler to join our expanding corporate team. You will work alongside Account Executives to support existing clients and develop new business opportunities across Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Leisure, and Care sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in larger commercial or corporate insurance across multiple classes.
• Proven ability to work to targets within a regulated and measurable framework.
• Strong risk awareness when handling client information.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with a client service focus.
• Organised, proactive and process-driven with ability to plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate documentation for new clients and confirm insurance requirements.
• Obtain renewal terms and research market alternatives for client presentations.
• Coordinate renewal quotes and mid-term adjustments in internal systems.
• Manage insurer queries and confirm cover for client policies.
• Review policy documentation for accuracy before presenting to clients.
• Handle client queries and credit control matters with Account Managers when needed.
• Apply relevant legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements in client support.
