Job summary

Bovis is recruiting a Senior Construction Manager for a MoD project in Oakham, Rutland. You will lead, coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, manage the supply chain, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across the project.

You will support the commercial team with robust record keeping, develop a site safety strategy, monitor progress against the programme and ensure delivery to achieve client expectations within budget.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills essential for influencing and coordinating teams.
• Ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary project teams on site.
• Ability to read and interpret programmes, drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong logistics planning and site set-up for pre-construction and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and logistics for all projects.
• Recruit and develop construction teams for delivery.
• Lead enabling works and surveys for main contracts.
• Develop and enforce safety and environmental management on site.
• Monitor progress and adjust methodologies to meet deadlines.
