Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive the delivery of a major commercial office package in the UK. You will coordinate design, site, commercial and client teams, leading consultants and the supply chain to maximise value and mitigate risk.

You will foster a high‑performing delivery team, oversee project strategy and schedule, and ensure safety, quality and on‑time delivery in line with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Chartered CIOB
• BSc or MSc in Project Management or Building/Construction Studies or Engineering
• CIOB / PCCS accreditation

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in creating a positive work environment for delivery staff.
• Create a detailed project strategy, plan and schedule and manage delivery within the plan.
• Ensure quality is consistently high and identify quality issues, implementing right‑first‑time policy.
• Establish and maintain clear communication and record keeping with all project stakeholders.
• Review all costs and controls.
• Build and maintain a qualified and experienced project team and coach/menter the team.
• Promote and use Bovis standard tools and systems for delivery.
• Develop risk management by understanding project risk and communicating it.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Build external relationships with clients and contractors and maintain trust.
