Job summary

Bovis is recruiting a Senior Planning Manager to lead planning and monitoring on major public sector projects in Oakham, Rutland. You will work with the Project & Operations Team to develop efficient methodologies and ensure timely delivery while supporting junior staff.

You will coordinate with BIM and senior stakeholders, produce robust reports, and drive planning improvements across the programme. National security vetting applies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Produce reports and diagrams to a high standard.
• Strong use of Excel (pivot tables, formulas).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning and monitoring of large/complex projects across all stages.
• Prepare reports for Senior Leadership Team on programme matters and issues.
• Coordinate 4D BIM with BIM Coordinator and chair weekly planning meetings.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate planning workshops and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support junior planning staff.
