Job summary

A leading entertainment company in London seeks a Senior Compositor to blend live-action and CGI elements, ensuring aesthetic integrity in visual effects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Nuke and strong aesthetic judgement regarding photo-realism and color. This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring two days on-site each week. The position is fixed-term, lasting up to six months, and applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Nuke.
• Strong aesthetic skills in judging photo-realism and colour.
• Keen sense of composition, colour, and design.
• Familiarity with using Linux systems.
• Experience in a similar level position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots with supervisors.
• Perform tasks associated with the compositing process, including layering and tracking.
• Maintain the overall look, colour balance, and quality for assigned shots.
• Work proactively with senior team members and across departments.
• Plan and test solutions for technical challenges on shots.
