Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist for Ilkeston Hospital, with duties across Bennerley Fields Centre and Ripley Hospital. The post includes clinical leadership responsibilities and opportunities to develop education skills within an integrated team.

You will manage diverse caseloads, lead junior staff, and work across community sites to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience with Band 6 level leadership/management.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Experience across community settings and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior therapists within Pathway 2 Therapy.
• Manage a clinical caseload across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with MDT colleagues to plan patient care.
• Support education and clinical leadership developments.
