University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Elderly Medicine Therapy team at Royal Derby Hospital. The post involves leading a small team, managing a caseload, and supporting junior physiotherapists and assistants in a busy acute hospital setting.

You will develop leadership and collaborative skills while contributing to service development for Elderly and General Medicine wards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy required.
• HCPC Registration required.
• Experience in Elderly/Acute/General NHS settings.
• Member of CSP / equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD and relevant area training.

Responsabilités

• Carry a caseload independently and supervise junior physiotherapy staff and assistants.
• Adapt, delegate and prioritise to cover the service priorities.
• Work with senior physiotherapists and OT teams to maintain a responsive Therapy service.
• Contribute to discharge planning and complex case management.
