Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) in Buxton is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the High Peak Integrated Community Team. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £39,959 to £48,117 per year.

You will work within the Community Therapy, Bedded Care Therapy and Rapid Response services, delivering comprehensive assessments and goal‑driven rehab in patients' homes and care facilities.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required and must be active.
• Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Band 6 experience in a relevant clinical field is desirable.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide community assessments and goal‑focused rehabilitation.
• Develop specialist therapy assessment and treatment in community settings.
• Travel across the High Peak and surrounding area; access to a vehicle is essential.
• Work within MDT with Community Therapy, Bedded Care Therapy and Rapid Response.
