Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager for its Manchester projects. You will take overall commercial responsibility from pre-construction through final account, ensuring budgets, cash flow and margins are controlled.

You will lead subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts while mentoring the commercial team. The role requires proven senior-level experience in construction, a strong grasp of risk and cost reporting, and excellent negotiation and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commercial Manager or senior quantity surveyor.
• Experience delivering construction projects from inception through final account.
• Experience across commercial, residential, public-sector or specialist projects.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting and contractual matters.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; MRICS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take overall commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction to final account.
• Lead commercial management to control budgets, costs, cash flow and margins.
• Manage subcontract procurement, tendering, valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain accurate commercial reports, forecasts and cost/value reconciliations.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers and provide commercial leadership.
