Ambit is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of complex construction projects in the Greater London area. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, contracts, and risk management, while partnering with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Membership of RICS, CIOB, or a similar professional body is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of multiple construction projects.
• Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee change management, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and cost analyses for senior management.
• Support pre-construction, tendering, and bid activities where required.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful and profitable project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
