Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking talented commercial leaders to join its South East team at Associate Director or Project Director level. The role focuses on setting up commercial structures for national capital programmes across water, defence, energy and transport sectors.

You will lead procurement, cost and commercial management, and drive client and contractor teams to establish governance, incentives and effective delivery models.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of infrastructure, defence and/or energy markets.
• Experience with commercial lifecycle support for clients.
• Proven ability to operate within large, complex environments.
• Experience delivering projects in commercial/transformational contexts.
• Familiarity with construction industry initiatives (e.g. Construction Playbook, Project 13).
• Desirable professional qualification (MCIPS, MRICS or FRICS).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial models and incentive mechanisms for major programmes.
• Lead governance, delivery structures and controls across the asset lifecycle.
• Translate client vision into effective commercial solutions and incentives.
• Drive bid teams and business development to identify growth opportunities.
